ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Targeting young adults, college students, artists and the artist community, this speaker
program aims to highlight our summer exhibition, In Pursuit: Artists Perspective on a
Nation by inviting attendees to hear directly from our artists featured in our exhibitions.
The speaker program covered themes around freedom of expression through art, the
artwork, the artist’ process, the connection to the political or social movements in
artworks and their experience with their communities. As a Made By Us flagship
program, the aim was to target the young adult audience by incorporating themes
around freedom of expression, current political and social movements and how the
artists address them in their artwork.
